There are lots of local cultural and traditional events in the Jesolo, Cavallino and Venice lagoon area: from the historical Venetian festivals to the county festivals, from the international art exhibitions to the exhibitions that take place yearly in addition to the marvellous sunny days spent at the seaside.
The exhibitions held at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice attract tourists from all over the world who come to see the masterpieces on show.

The Biennale di Venezia attracts young artists every year. Their works reflect the times in which we live and the visiting public act both as spectators and subjects.

Festa del Redentore in Venice
Each year on the third Saturday in July the citizens of Venice meet in San Marco to admire, what are defined as, “ the most beautiful fireworks in the world”. The Regata Sorica is of equal importance: The typical Venetian rowing boats compete in a race along the Grand Canal.

Festivals in Veneto: The festival of the famous Italian, red, Treviso chicory ,the Conegliano grape festival, the Caorle fish festival.

Events in Jesolo
Lots of events take place in Jesolo, easy to reach by car or on public transport. The annual Sand Castle competition, the Frecce Tricolori air display and the various dates of Jazz and Ethnic music.

The Venetian restaurants
Walking through the squares and little streets you will come across the typical Venetian restaurants, “barcari”, where you can sample the delicacies of Venetian cuisine. After supper you can continue your evening listening to live music in one of the many nightspots or dancing in a nightclub.

Even the least courageous won’t be able to resist jumping off the bungee jumping tower at night or sliding down the largest slide in the world at the Aqualandia water fun park.
